Not bad....side view a little too 'Camryish' though!

Well, when has the ES not been "Camryish"? At least it's better than the old one...

Another Camry twin. What happened to differentiating the ES from the Camry. I guess they didnt get the memo. Otherwise very beautiful interior. Personally I plan to get a 2007 Camry SE V6 with Navi. Probably $10k shy of the ES with all the same features.

Looks good except the center console...that just doesn't look good one bit...

I also like the outgoing model with the Lexus emblem on top of the hood...

So, you're saying Lexus isn't going out n a limb with this new one. Looks no different then a slightly more modernized Camry. Way to step up their game... Not!

What's up with that multicolored interior? Blech!

Sorry, the whole round car exterior and interior is old and never was that good looking, in my view.

reminiscent of the weinermobile.

There's something in the car's straight-on front shot that reminds me of the new Acura RL.

I’ve waited and waited for this and now ..... I’m completely under whelmed. It looks like Lexus’ management is going through struggles, and perhaps is schizophrenic. Old Lexus guard can’t let go of the older and reliable [and shrinking] client base, so they tweaked the worn-out bulbous ES 330 with a fish-like tail, while new guard realizes the train wreck ahead for Lexus if it doesn’t come up with something new, exciting and completely enticing (so, they redesign LS and IS). Are there two Lexus companies out there? Guess that only leaves me to shop for a BMW-3. PS – if it doesn’t have curb appeal at first sight, you can only rationalize that all of the other features make up for that obvious deficiency. xx

I've dirven NISSAN CIMA.
But, its function is not enough.
I heard LS has the top technology, for instance hybrid.
I'm looking forward!!

No offence.. but what do you people want? It's an ES! Were you expecting something that looks like a Viper or Mercedes S-Class?

Anonymous said... »February 07, 2006

I want something that doesn't say - room for two walkers in trunk.

They should've brought the Crown Majesta Stateside instead. The new design philosophy at Lexus worked for the sporty models but the LS and ES should look more stately.

My question is, does it have normal cupholders?

when are they going to really make the Es special. Here are several bad points on the current ES. Interior multi color trim with dark and light colors except all black, Center C is just nothing to gt excited about, Wheels are also just adverage, Mirrors look to big for the doors, Gas milge stinks, Deals where are they,
