Renault surprised us today with the opening of a teaser site for its upcoming 2008 Laguna sedan. To be frank, we were expecting the first batch of shots to be released a couple of weeks prior to the Frankfurt Show in September, but obviously, the French had other plans. In approximately 40 days from now, Renault will fully unveil the 2008 Laguna, which is expected to go on sale this fall. However, for the time being, we have be content with Renault’s teaser video featuring a guy who sneaks up to a lightly camouflaged Laguna along with a set of interior images. -Continued after the jump

    Translation of Sam's Comment:

I visited the Web site and it's shameful that they don't have the page in Spanish. What's worse is that if you want to register you can do it from Romania, Ukraine and a bunch of other countries; however Spain does not appear in the listing. For me its shameful that a carmaker that regards Spain as one of its main markets does not consider our country for its policies of communication and marketing. It's disappointing and of course I've let Renault know it through an email.

Sam, I believe that the reason why the page isn't working in Spanish or any other language apart from English for that matter, is that the site isn't officially up yet.

If you visit the home page (http://www.insidenewlaguna.com/) you'll see a blank page. In a couple of days when Renault officially announces the opening of Laguna Web Site, it'll work with every language.

The website seems to be officially launched know. The video has been changed for a longer one including the Renault F1 team drivers Heikki kovalainen and Giancarlo Fisichella.

    Very funny.
