Ferrari P4/5: James Glickenhaus And His Hot Italian Mistress

|

We’re sure you remember it; the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, a one-off commissioned by American collector, James Glickenhaus, initially released to the public at the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours followed by an international debut at the 2006 Paris Show. The P4/5 project started off in 2005 when Glickenhaus purchased a $1m Ferrari Enzo which he immediately sent to Pininfarina's Italian design studio for a complete makeover.

Being a fan and an owner of a rebuilt Ferrari 330 P3/4, Glickenhaus ordered Pininfarina to create a modern interpretation of the legendary 60’s race car. Obviously, to say that Pininfarnia simply covered the Enzo with a new outfit is the definition of an understatement. Check out this unique supercar in action and see what Glickenhaus has to say about it in this video that was shot by Jynxproductions in Westchester County for the German car show “auto motor and sport tv”. -Ferrari P4/5 High-Res Wallpapers after the jump

I could not disagree more. As a modern take on the classic 330 P3/4 sports racer, there are some details I might do differently, but that is personal to the owner. All in all, very well done.

at 2:43 I want to be able to pull a lever in my garage and see a vintage Ferrari come out of the ceiling... Nice!

I wonder if Glickenhaus has a neighbor(who he hates) with a Ford GT?
