What a near rip off! The person in the video took his Mercedes-Benz to an authorized dealer to fix his car’s broken sunroof, or in Mercedes terms, moon roof. The dealership’s technician looks at it and diagnoses that he needs a brand new moon roof with an estimated cost of… $6.500 - €4.900 in repairs!
Stunned by the estimate the vehicles owner decides to ask for a second opinion, this time at an independent repair shop located a mile away from the dealership. To his surprise, the second technician informs him that the only problem was a… small pebble stuck in the roof tracking! All it took to fix of course was a pair of tweezers to remove the rocky culprit. The independent shop charged him $143 - €107 which still sounds like a rip off to us but that’s a misdemeanor compared to the $6.500 that Mercedes was asking. Infuriated, the vehicle owner then grabs a camera and heads back to the Mercedes-Benz dealership… Find out what happened in the video after the jump

Hahahah Nice catch!
Busting their lazy greedy asses, but...
What was the rock doing up there?.... Going off road? You would have to drive extremely rough on outdoor/off road area to get any rocks... ALL THE WAY UP THERE.
However... that guy look like a business person... would he go offroad with his car, getting a rock up there?
Wtf?
This is a double wtf crap.
Dealership ripping you off.... and possible con artist himself, puting the rock there in the first place.
The place is in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The Mercedes dealership is well known to be shady..
this video illustrates German automakers frequently scam its customers. I would never buy German cars at any price. Germans car makers frequently rip off consumers.

Dealers are independently owned, you ignorant anonymous fool.
It's no longer surprising to learn what people are capable of for the sake of money.
It doesn't need a wise man to find out that the deal was a scam. The huge amount is an obvious sign.
Azure, consider that the rock could have been kicked up by a car in front of him. I'm sure you've had rocks hit your windshield and bounce up over the car before. There's nothing really that surprising about it...just unlucky.
