We’ll just bypass the fugly looking, upside-down 3-Series Coupe/7-Series taillights and the fact that this is the first totally undisguised picture of the 1-Series Coupe and we’ll get straight to the point; is the “135i” decorative license plate for real? Does this picture confirm the rumors that BMW will equip the forthcoming 1-Series with the renowned 306Hp strong 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six?

Hard to say due to the poor quality of the image, but before you start having doubts due to the absence of the dual exhaust pipes featured in the 335i (one on each side of the bumper), let us remind you that the 535i has the same style exhaust pipes as the “135i” shown here. As for the image itself, it looks like someone managed to scoop it during some sort of BMW presentation or commercial/brochure shoot-out, via a cell-phone camera -Thanks for the tip Ronan!
