This foolish Fiat 500 driver got a bit too excited when he realized he was about to “win” the race…theoretically speaking. As he was pumping his fist outside of the car window in anticipated victory, he lost control and swerved uncontrollably off the track missing the finish line by a few feet. Hey buddy, next time, keep both hands on the wheel! *As our readers rightfully pointed out, its a Fiat 600 and not a Fiat 500

You want the all story behind this crash? It was in Mar del Plata, final race of the year, and the guy was about to win the championship if he win or score points. After the crash, he managed to push the car to the finish line, but race officials disqualified him for not being IN the car and not wear the helmet. He travel with his wife to Brazil, trying to forget all about the incident. And when in the hotel in Brazil, the image appears in the lobby tv, and one of the staff said to him: what an idiot? what he was thinking uh?
He will remember all as the worst part of racing experience, and I think he will not travel to Brazil again!
I live in Mar del Plata and was about 30 meters watching the weekend races when the crash and everything happened.
The Brazil part, he told it to a common friend.
