2008 Ford Focus ST Image - Is It Real?

We discovered this image of the 2008 Ford Focus ST floating around the net this morning and while we can’t guarantee that it’s authentic, it sure looks like it is. While the facelifted European Ford Focus was presented in September at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show (click here for details & images) Ford hadn’t released any details or pictures of the sporty 2008 Focus ST. The current version is equipped with Volvo’s 2.5-litre turbocharged, 5-cylinder unit delivering 220 Hp. So, what do think; is the picture real or is it the work of an excellent photoshop artist?

    I think its likely how the ST will look, its appears this picture is photoshopped.

    It's a photoshop, there is no character line on the upper section of the front doors which the new focus has.

    Its not real IMO. Ford used Orange as the colour for the previous launch, so they will (probably) use a different colour for the newer model.

    White seems to be popular these days.

    It's definitely real, I ordered the 2008 Focus ST this week ;-)

    But it is only a facelift, the rest is the same as in the old model. As far as I know Ford will release a completly new Focus in 2010...
