2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi – New Brochure Scans

A new set of ’08 Impreza WRX STi brochure scans hit the web today on the NASIOC forums revealing a few exterior and interior details along with some of the specs. According to the brochure, the new Impreza WRX STi’s turbocharged engine delivers an output of 304 Hp at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque figure of 43 kgm or 311 lb-ft at 4,400 rpm. Not much, we know but here’s a little something that ought to keep all you Subie fans on your toes: Carscoop is in a position to inform you that Subaru will officially unveil pictures and details of the 2008 Impreza WRX STi next week. -More scans after the jump

  • Spirited/Circuit driving: SI-Drive (SPORT #) + Multi-mode DCCD (AUTO -) + Multi-mode VDC (TRACTION)

I'm still disappointed. I know that the wrc class soon will die and the s2000 will take over the rallying world but why..... WHY!!!!! did they make it a hatch? ;( Its as mindless as diesel in the WTCC. i hope the guy who made that happened dies in wain.

Yeah I agree it sucks that they made it a hatch/wagon. the reason they did it is because of better weight distribution, thats why.

Oh stop whining... it's ugly now but wait until it comes out and it'll be as beautiful as the evo 8 and the 06 STi. ;) Besides, when you're behind the wheel, everything is sweet when you go fast enough around a turn.

I don't know really it looks a bit like a ford focus I don't think it should have been a hatchback give a 22b any day of the week!
