Things aren’t looking so bright at Chrysler as the third largest U.S. automaker announced it will halt production for two weeks in two more plants following its fourth straight monthly decline in sales this September. According to Chrysler LLC spokesperson, David Elshoff, in addition to next week’s 14-day closure of the Belvidere plant in Illinois that makes the Dodge Caliber and the Jeep Patriot and Compass, the company will also idle production in the Toledo, Ohio, North Assembly and Newark, Delaware, factories starting on October 8. The Toledo North factory makes the Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro, while the Newark factory produces the Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen.

Given the service they give, or more to the point DO NOT give, on their new vehicles one should not be surprised they can't sell their cars.
Mind you, they look great but subjective opinion will never outweigh the lack of reliability and the fact that their dealers will not fix faults. I would have been happy if they admitted to the fact that a 2004 Chrysler Voyager
    1. Should not wear out brake pads AND rotors wear out in less than 20,000 kms.
    2. ABS sensors fail regularly
    3. The air-conditioning turns on and off at will.
    4. The handbrake assembly is faulty.
I could go on and on but I would rather share my disappointment with the prospective Chrysler purchasers I come across.
Shame on you Chrysler. Pity on your poor workers.
