Looks like all those rumors about Chrysler reviving the ‘Cuda (Barracuda) nameplate were true after all. These scoop pictures were taken from the SEMA showroom in Las Vegas today giving us a sneak peak of what Chrysler has in store for us tomorrow morning. For the time being however, there’s no info whatsoever on the new ‘Cuda but it's obvious that the concept is based on the 2009 Dodge Challenger (click here) and that it's wearing a Dodge Charger interior. We’re not going to get delirious and talk about a production version, but being the 60 & 70’s muscle cars suckers that we are, we wouldn’t mind at all. -More images after the jump

Why am I so gay? Because I made a joke about Don Johnson? Do you even know why I would make this joke? Correct your grammar before you go off insulting people.

    John,

I think you should close out anonymous comments so people can't hide when they act retarded and insult someone.

Sorry Carscoop, you have some bad information concerning this car. The car is privately owned by a gentilman from California and was built for him by Metalcrafters in California (same company Chip Foose uses for some of his work). The owner started out with a 2006 SRT8 Charger and had it converted to the Cuda you see before you, it was converted from a 4 door to a 2 door and had the wheel base reduced to 116 inches, the drive train is stock SRT8 6.1 Hemi and the ENTIRE body is formed of carbon fiber. He was invited to display it at the Mopar Performance display at SEMA. Chrysler did not design this car nor do they have any plans to produce it.

    Cool car isn't it?

Yes, that's true Scott. We're trying to gather info on the car as we speak .
    Thanks!

That's a very nice looking car, now can someone turn the lights on so we can see it better?

It is in fact a cool concept, but it's pretty obvious that it's not done by Chrysler. The interior is that same things they've been putting in Magnums since 2005. What kind of a concept would that be?

It look's O.K.,But the rear quarter panels look like they are off of a 68 Camaro, the front fenders look similar to a Ford Maverick and the tail light panel looks like a Mustang,Was American Motors Involved in making this Car !!
