These are the first official pictures of the facelifted Ford Focus Station Wagon due to go on sale during the first quarter of 2008. Like its 3door/5door and ST siblings, the family orientated Focus SW’s appearance has been enhanced with the adoption of a Mondeo-inspired front-end and the slightly modified rear-end that features new light clusters and a redesigned bumper. -Continued after the jump
Inside, apart from the improved standard equipment levels, the car has been cosmetically enhanced with a new instrument cluster, a redesigned centre console, an optional Start button and a new grained soft-touch synthetic material on the entire instrument panel, as well as the upper trims of the front doors. Underneath the body, there are no mechanical changes.

i like it,it looks more classy.
Does anyone else see this singular global design language arriving sooner than later. Is Ian angry that the new focus cribs a bit of the headlight shape of his new XF? And yes i know all cars share a basic sameness but this is rather blatant
Too bad the local Ford dealers didn't have this information. I was told at the dealership that the Focus wagon had been discontinued!
Don
BRING IT!!!!!!!
I can hardly wait. I'd buy today if I could.
Too bad they don't have these in the US. Maybe if they did, they wouldn't be going out of business.
If you want to buy one, and you live in the U.S., could you ship it here to the states?
I went to a Ford dealership in Northern Calif inquiring about a Focus wagon. Salesman told me Ford doesn't make the vehicle anymore because there is no demand for it. He then tried to sell me a vehicle made in Japan telling me the car was better than the Ford Focus.
I own a focus wagon. I bought it in 2003 has 192,000k runs like a champ-no problems. In fact I am looking to buy a 2008-2009. I would recommend this sassy car. I LOVE MY WAGON!
I have a 2003 ford focus station wagon also and earlier this year was looking for a new one and was told that they were discontinued - so what is up with this - not to say I am not ecstatic - love the wagon - great mileage - and lots of room
I have been looking to buy a sw. for quiet sometime. I always bought foreign made I never trusted american made cars. I looked at the VW. The vehicles are good but the service is awful at dealerships across Canada. I was stuck. Yesterday I met someone that owns a Focus SW. the bought it in 2001 and he loved it, no problems what so ever. He did complaint that during an inspection at the dealership a mechanic disconnected some hoses and later some teenager working in there put them all back, which feel apart later. So he warned me at dealerships hiring young, inexperienced people as a cost saving. That happened at a VW dealership about 10-11 yrs. ago. New owner and new staff. They fired all the knowledgeable professionals and hire young inexperienced mechanics. All the staff were family members including the secretaries. I swear never to buy another VW unless the service changed. For the last 9 yrs. I owned a Toyota, but not SW. I hope Ford will continue building the Focus SW. I heard nothing but good things about the vehicle. According to sales people, every year they said that the SW has been discontinued. Communication should improved so they don't mislead customers because we go somewhere else even if we don't get what we are looking for. Good customer service is very important in my book.
Sad that the American Ford Co has to IMPORT it's own cars from europe. I could have told the over paid US executives that they were going to go out of business ten years ago...just look at the stupid designs they have foisted on us, while the cars they produce in europe are spectacular.
Hello FORD time to get with the program!!!!!
I would buy one of these SW....what the hell are they waiting for.
Thanks. Bob

Was out shopping for my first car today with my spouse. It was love at first sight! After the test drive, we were converted. The features and continental build (Volvo chasis i heard) is definitely one up against similar Japanese makes. Discontinue this model? Not a chance.

Excellent styling, and that sells cars. Good exterior design means someone has taken the time on details, and that should be reflected in interior design and quality. Simple lines, nicely integrated, no overwrought details, good-sized windows for rear visibility, tasteful rear lights. The European price appears high - but Ford should bring it to the US and get rid of the present second-rate Focus. If they do, I'll have it high on my shopping list (with the VW Sportwagen, Kia Rondo, Hyundai Touring, Forester, and Honda CRV. It looks competitive.
Pity South Africa won't see it...
I have the 2007 focus wagon... LOVE it! 2007 was the last year for the wagon tho... so I don't understand this "2008 ford focus wagon" It seems like more of a great idea than an actuality! I hope they bring them back.
From what I heard, there was no demand for them in the states (you know americans... they love their HUGE SUVs and trucks) but I see the wagon EVERYWHERE in Ontario... and besides.. the americans arent buying $hit these days...
I hope to see them back soon!
