Seat Leon FR1 Series Limited

VW’s Spanish subsidiary Seat has added a new special version in the Leon’s line-up, the “FR1 Series-Limited” which is powered by a 2.0 TDI (turbo-diesel) unit generating 170 Hp. Compared to the standard FR, the special version includes a series of extras like bucket sport seats, chunky 18-in. alloy rims, an electronic roof and a USB adaptor. Normally, the overall value of the extras would be in excess of €1,500 (approx $2,500) but Seat is in a good mood this period so they’ll charge you a mere €250 (about $365). Btw, the Leon looks mighty sexy in white doesn't it.-More images after the jump

Yep, the Leon is a nice car to watch but it's also a very bad car to drive. Last summer I drove a Leon TDI 105 in the Balearics and it was offered with the worst manual gearbox I 've ever encountered. Some gearboxes are imprecised but that one was fucking dangerous with nearly all the shifts stepping each other !!!

I drive a Leon FR and after having driven all the competitors in this space (Megane RS, Focus ST, Golf GTI etc) I can confidently say theother comment is plain stupid... my car handles better than all the above, has precise gear shifts and is an absolute blast to drive!
