OMG ... those gullwing doors are seriously TRASHY with the hinges and the gas struts ON THE OUTSIDE
Trashy? Yes, but incredibly ingenious. Honestly, that's not a bad effort at a Delorean - they achieved the trademark doors, whether in an idealy fashion or in this case not. Nice find!
the DeLorean and Scirocco are designed by the same person, Giorgetto Giugiaro. He has designed many others, BMW M1, Lotus Espirt, VW Rabbit, Hyundai Excel...all from the 80's. Note that they all have a similar design with the DMC-12 being his most famous.
