Kia Borrego – Mohave SUV Launched In Korea: New Image Gallery | Carscoop

Kia’s all-new mid-sized SUV, the Mohave or, as it will be called in the States, the Borrego, was launched in the Korean market today. Sales in the USA and other export markets are expected to commence in late spring or early summer. According to Kia officials, the company expects to sell 18,000 units of the 7-seater Mohave in South Korea this year and 30,000 units overseas

Kia spent 230 billion won (US $245 million) over the past 29 months to develop the Borrego, which will make its pubic debut in the States at the 2008 Detroit Show on January 13. The Borrego features a body-on-frame construction and it will be available with a choice of V6 or the company’s first V8 gasoline engines (depending on market). -Check out the new image gallery after the jump

I agree, truly excellent photography in these images. The car, on the other hand, is forgettable, at best.

Halldór I disagree. This SUV looks good for its target market. What's forgettable is the Fugulicious hunk of twisted and mishapen steel that is the Toyota Sequoia.

Good photos, that is true, but what is the strange metal arm in the left of photos 09 and 11? Some kind of photographic gear for setting up faux-motion shots?
