No, Citroen has not lost its mind with its latest advert for the all-new C5 mid-size sedan dubbed, “Unmistakably German”. It’s just that the French carmaker wants to highlight fact that it can create a beautifully designed sedan that incorporates the same Teutonic qualities as its German rivals. –Check out the video after the jump

"in boca al lupo" C5!
What is the point... why on earth do they think it is better to be German than French? I hope they get huge and furious flak from French people for this.
I think it's a brilliant car advert. I just feel sorry for those who don't get the humour.
Just imagine what it would have been like if Carlsberg had made the advert...
I think this comes close.
Stupid Ridiculous and very off putting for those of us who would
not buy a matchstick that was German. Hurrah for Basil Fawlty!!!!!
Several points to make.
First, what is the humour? Sausages, sword fights, busty women and eagles? 'allo 'allo is funny but this is um, shit.
Secondly, the last car manufacturer that made the German joke was Rover. (Britisher Architect).
They are gone now.
Thirdly, grow up. Anyone who spends £20000 on some product because of national stereotypes should eat German food, should buy a french car, be policed by Italian police and have to endure Brazilian soaps.
