Volkswagen USA announced that it is recalling 96 MY 2008 Touareg vehicles this month. According to the German carmaker, a fuel supply line was changed during production which could lead to insufficient sealing of the fuel supply line connector. This condition could lead to a fuel leak which in turn could result into a fire in the presence of an ignition source. Volkswagen dealers will inspect and replace the fuel supply line, if necessary.
