The Teutonic-loving chaps at “Audiblog” have snapped a barely camouflaged S3 Sportback lying in a fenced parking lot somewhere in Europe. Currently, the S3 badge is reserved exclusively for the 3-door version of the A3, but according to our information, Audi will introduce the 5-door S3 Sportback into the market in late 2008 – early 2009. Like its 3-door sibling, the S3 Sportback will be powered a 265 Hp 2.0-liter turbocharged unit matted to either a 6-speed manual or Audi’s dual-clutch S-Tronic transmission. And min you, the production version will get the same chromed exterior mirrors as the 3-door hatch.
