In this video, GM’s Global Accessories Design Manager Larry Sully takes us on a a behind-the-scenes tour of GM's Accessories Design Studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan. There’s a lot of interesting stuff going on there, but what really caught out attention in the video was the part about the Camaro. Even though Sully only gave us a sneak peak of the actual Camaro that his team is working on, he did reveal that GM is planning a whole series of accessories for Chevy’s muscle car ranging from grilles and spoilers to ground effects. –See the video after the jump

We got wheels and grilles and wheels and facias and wheels and, did I mention wheels? We have a wall of wheels. Geez, why not invest some research, $$, time, and stylish design thought into practical accessories that people can use for their everyday needs on the interior. Don't get me wrong, exterior bling is good...but it has limits - GM accessories team there is way beyond. Are they calling us customers shallow & superficial by just focusing on exterior bling? Hey GM competitors - practical interior solutions with some style is where your opportunity is!! My wallet is open for you and not the after market guys. I like the idea of rolling my accessories costs into my monthly payment!
