As strange as it may sound, we could have the first official shot of the upcoming Ferrari Dino through a die-cast model website. In particular, GrandPrixLegends uploaded a picture of the car on their site as a preview for Mattel’s 1/18 scale model of the new Ferrari Dino for 2008 that will be priced at just GBP 59 (Euro 78, USD 121).

Mind you, it’s not the first time that a die-cast model company has leaked a picture of an upcoming model on the net –even though it’s not entirely sure that, that’s the case with GrandPrixLegends. Back in 2006, a Chinese toy manufacturer revealed the shape of the Citroen C4 Picasso through a die-cast model (see here) months before we saw pictures of the real car!

    Yep, it looks like a Porsche, but I can see a little bit of Lotus there too.
