2009 Volkswagen Scirocco: Live Pictures from Geneva

Making its worldwide premiere in Geneva, Volkswagen’s Scirocco coupe will go on sale in Europe this summer with prices starting from 21,750 euros in Germany. VW will offer the 3door-coupe with three different gasoline direct-injection engines with power ranging from 122hp to 200hp plus a 140hp turbo diesel. We’ve already shown you the official images here and a video of the Scirocco here, so it’s time for live pictures from the German carmaker’s Geneva Salon stand.     Have to disagree with you Henri - the new Scirocco is clean, neat, purposeful and above all, different. A totally different look from the current crop of VW's yet still clearly influenced by the original.

    hope to see some pics of the interior!
    The exterior seems compact, simple but very attractive. A minimalist n contemporary design.

    The interior is pretty much a VW Eos Dash, with different doors and seats. The colour i saw was a horrible Tan Leather - YUK!

    I wonder what it'll look like with much smaller alloy wheels that people will no doubt opt for as who wants to run a car with 20s.......................?


    I like the tan leather........ reminds me of an 80s Ferrari.


    shame it's not a Ferrari.


    and p.s image 5, check how small the brakes look.... and is that Seal in the driver's seat?
