Before you get all wound up and start commenting about the design of Geely’s new GT Concept Coupe that’ll premier at the Beijing Auto Show this April, while we too find its styling reminiscent of other cars like the Maybach Exelero or the Maserati GranTurismo Coupe, we must admit that our first impressions are positive. Give China car makers 10-15 years and you will wondering yourself why bother about buying a german car...
Those guys from the other side of the world are serious and learn very fast. Better be prepared when they will come.
Anon# In 10 to 15 years Chinese automakers will have to pay workers more than 2 dollars a day my friend... So, once the price advantage is over, they'll have to play with the same rules as German carmakers do today. So I dont think you have a point there
well if they have everything automated by robotics by then. they can almost cut the employees out. so it's still cheaper. that way there'll
be 6 sigma quality control people can rely on without the human screw up component.
