Celebrating the British Touring Car Championship season (BTCC) that kicks off at Brands Hatch on Sunday 30th March, SEAT unveiled a new limited edition of its
Specifically, the ‘550’ package adds bucket-style seats with sporty integrated head restraints, a set of 18-inch ‘Draco’ alloy wheels, a USB connection for iPod or MP3 connectivity and a FR550 tailgate badging. There are no changes under the bonnet as the ‘550’ shares the same 170 PS, turbo charged 2.0-litre TDI that powers the Leon FR TDI. The 135 mph/ 217 km/h hatch can go from rest to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.2 seconds, offering an average fuel consumption of 6.0 lt/100km or 39.2 US MPG on the combined cycle, and as much as 47.0 US MPG or 5.0 lt/100 km out of town. I've just bought one of these in Yellow (not lime - actual yellow). Apparently, out of the 550, 20 will be yellow - but how is there a way of knowing exactly how many there are?
