A couple of weeks ago we showed you the full image gallery of Land Rover’s 60th anniversary SVX special edition Defender 90 (3door) SVX model. Today we have the first pictures of the seven-seater 110 (5door station wagon) version of the commemorative SVX that will be offered in a mere 1,800 units worldwide.
Like its three-door counterpart, the Defender 110 SVX is solely available with metallic black paintwork. Distinctive exterior features include a restyled grille surround, tubular side-steps, unique alloy wheels, reinforced aluminium front under shield, clear-lens headlamps and LED reverse/rear fog lights.
The SVX’s interior is distinguished by the custom-designed Recaro front seats, machined alloy gear knobs, a new audio system (with subwoofer and USB socket), iPod compatibility and Garmin satellite navigation. –Click through for the image gallery

Now this is actually a legitimate Land Rover. Purpose built.
Wow!, now that is a real pimped_out_landy for ya!. Now, I only wish they would ship some of these babies to the U.S.A.
i think the exterior of the TD5 model looks nicer than the 2007 model. The 2007 model has like a huge nose bulging out at the front. but the bulge at the top is okay.
I also prefer the TD5's interior, as in the control layout, the feel and aircon vents layout and the cool window like flaps in front of the driver and the passenger, compared to 2007 model.
now i have seen the 2009 version and it looks better on the outside and the inside than the 2007 model as in the front nose nulge is not visible in the 2009 model and the interior is nicer in the 2009 model compared to 2007 but i still think the TD5 has nicer interior.
ANDAND
i heard the 2007 model has stopped producing the engines used in previous defender models and instead fitted it with a tuned transit van's engine. This sounds quite unglamourous
whats under the HOOD
I think I understand what you were trying to expose us with to this New SXY Series of the DEFENDER 110.
However, as a fan of The Land Rover DEFENDER 110, it would really quench My Thirst and Desire to see The Classic Land Rover evolve to the New Decade of the 21st Century.
From what I see, this New Version looks just same as the old Defender 110. If you can't beleive it try to compare the two models. It has got the same curve, the same shape... I like the wheels though, tought but still classy.
For the love I have for Land Rover DEFENDER 110,I have decided to share what I think would be very creative and influencial for the development of My Favourite Car Make.
