“Na na na na na na na na na na BATMAN. That is what your neighbours will say when you pull into the driveway” –no, we haven’t lost it, this is how the owner of this 1989 Batmobile chose to start the description of the car on eBay… Even though we admire people with a good sense of humor, we didn’t find anything funny with the $500,000 starting price (about €330,000).
The seller supports that this Batmobile was one of the five cars that Warner Bros built for Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie staring Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger. Strangely, the seller also says that this particular Batmobile “could have been in the Batman movie” – whatever that means. –More pics after the jump

Well fellas, if you remeber from way back in the day (I was 8 then), Pepsi Co. did a giveaway of 5 Batmobiles as promos for the "Movie of the Decade." This is likely one of those examples. If memory serves correctly they were built by Warner Brothers ontop of Camaro chassis. Although they were not road legal, they were completely drivable.
Coca-cola was the sponsor for the first batman movie ,
I beleive they gave away 2 cars, they were built on late 60's early 70's impala 4-door chassis, and if you looked they still have the factory gas and brake pedals, one was on ebay about 6-7 years ago for buy it now of $100,000.00
Did this ever sell?
Man this is my dream car. Its so awesome! The other batmobiles cant compare to the 1980s version.
