Infiniti G37 Convertible Officially Announced | Carscoop

The long-awaited convertible version of Infiniti’s G Coupe will be introduced during the fiscal year 2008 which started in April 2008 and ends in March 2009 according to an official announcement made by Nissan’s CEO, Carlos Ghosn during the unveiling of the company’s “GT 2012” mid term business plan (we’ll have more on that later on).

Although Nissan didn’t release any more details, it is rumored that the G37 convertible may get an electric folding hard-top like its main competitor, the BMW 3-Series Cabriolet. What’s for certain is that the G37 Convertible will come equipped with the same 330H 3.7-liter V6 engine as its coupe sibling.

when are they going to make a hybrid or at least a more efficient car? $80 to fill up a G35 is getting rather painful.
