They could have saved bucks not doing such a minor set of changes
Hardly, cost of this re-style is two sides of fk all but it gives the marketing bods something to talk about in a mini re-launch!
Awesome successor, the Peugeot 508 is now on sale, yet I somewhat miss the Peugeot 407 now.
Indeed her packaging is hardly rational, and cumbersome, while her intrepid challenge to design seems lovely in a sense. That's an incarnation of modern art in formation.
As for engineering, the turbo diesel units are still gems,on the other hand the Julassic 3.0-litres V6 petrol with designation of XU94S is separated in its valuation. Its CO2 amount and fuel consumption are below par, while power delivery of this unit is commendable in a way, some examples of 407 3.0V6s(211bhp/30kgm) are said to reach 250-260km/h range on European Autobahn, not only above manufacturer data of 235km/h but also as fast as today's current models such as the Volvo S80 2.5T(231bhp).
Among the brand-new 508 series, the 2.2-litres diesel hybrid yielding 200bhp,waiting on the wing, would succeed such precious pedigree of Autobahn/autoroute cruiser with excellent efficiency,I hope so!
