If you’re still wondering why General Motors is considering every available option for its Hummer division including a complete revamp of its lineup, a joint venture, even getting rid of it, then look no further than this chart from Freep with the brand’s 2008 sales. Paraphrasing the Chinese saying, a number is worth 1,000 words… Just for the record, Hummer’s overall sales for the first five months of the year (January through May) were down by 36% compared to the same period in 2007.

that's quite bad if it's 100% for real there are however to be honest much better cars than this like a freelander or an xc90

No shit, Sherlock. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out, does it, Colonel Lawrence?

The revolution begins. In my Los Angeles-area neighborhood, the streets are littered with SUV For-Sale signs. Motorscooters are becoming more and more popular as I know see middle-aged and the elderly with grocery bags on the scooters.

IMO, Hummer should be sold. Why plunge all that money into "revamping"? It had its time, now it's time to spend on research for the future. Not struggle to hold on to the past.
