It’s not often that we get the chance to see a camouflaged prototype facing the road… upside down. According to our “Espanol colegas” at Diablomotor who were tailing the Renault Scenic III test mule from a safe distance of three or four cars behind, no one was hurt in the accident. If anything else, Renault’s engineers will have the unique opportunity to evaluate the Scenic III’s crash test performance in real-life conditions. The new Scenic III minivan is expected to make its global debut at the forthcoming Paris Show this October. –More pics after the jump

The bigger question is whether they sent a mule camouflaged tow truck to retrieve the vehicle?

Always a bad sign when your prototype roles during testing. Nobody wants to buy a roller these days.

Aaron: I do! I have several Rollers, a Phantom, a Silver Diamond and a Silver Wraith! ;)

The New Scenic looks as though it needs to be lower to the ground, like the A-Klasse needed, or this could be the 5pm news feature we may be seeing :(
