In a few days time Honda will officially release details on the 2009 model year Civic that will go on sale across the U.S. at the end of August. While we don’t have the official images in our hands yet, we’ve been tipped off that changes will include a new front bumper cover and grille design along with new headlight and tail lamp color combinations. Honda has also updated the interior trim and added six new exterior colors including Crystal Black Pearl and Polished Metal Metallic. -Continued

For 2009 the Civic also obtains two new trim levels; the Civic Sedan LX-S that includes 16-inch alloys, black sport cloth-trimmed seats, leather steering wheel, rear decklid spoiler and a chrome exhaust and the Civic DX Sedan VP that adds air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo system with an Aux jack.
