2009 Mitsubishi ColtThe revised 2009 Mitsubishi Colt has been captured on film during a promotional photo shoot in Berlin, Germany. The main changes are to the front end that echoes the styling of the new Lancer Sedan and Sportback. Judging from the picture, Mitsubishi’s designers seem to have done a great job incorporating the shark-like nose to their subcompact hatchback that will compete in Europe against the new Ford Fiesta, Fiat Grande Punto, Toyota Yaris and others. Changes to the rear end are limited to the restyled bumper, and the darker tail lamps. -Continued

Our sources confirm the report from the scanned newspaper article that the facelifted Mitsubishi Colt will indeed make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in early October with sales in Europe set to begin shortly after.

Why do car companies insist on giving their products identical-looking nose jobs?

The worst example I can think of is the Golf VI/Scirocco combo.

It might improve brand synergy but it reduces the styling impact of individual models!

That's exactly what i think, although this particular example looks good imo.
Worst case imo is Audi. You've got to be a car enthusiast to tell the difference between their models (A4/A5, A6/A8).

I prefer the current colt, But this works well.

Mitsubishi are also basic the Shogun Sport on the looks and Chassis of the L200, as they always used to.

Mitsubishis models were once all Unique:

    Grandis
    Space Star
    Colt
    Shogun
    L200
    Eclipse

    Etc

they all looked different, they seem to love their "Evo" Shark front recently xD
