Subaru Impreza WRX STI Fast & Furious 4Like it or not, the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI pictured above is one of the cars that will star alongside Vin Diesel (yes, he’s returning) in the fourth incarnation of “The Fast and the Furious” film that is scheduled to hit cinema screens in June 2009. The modified Subie features a two-tone color job complemented with red stripes and black alloys along with a full bodykit. The FNF4 Impreza WRX STI was spotted by Flickr member Chad at a Motor Press Guild meeting in Los Angeles, CA earlier this month. -Image gallery after the jump

THIS has to be the UGLIEST car in TFTF films ever.... theres where u see that the ugly cars and bad taste designers are the one that has the best jobs ever... to bad for the WRX... bet u anything that they lost a lot of clients with this design... anyways there's always an Evo for you

weeeeeeelllll......at least it doesn't have an giant afro-pick on the side of it, right? yeah, it's stupid looking but what would you expect...

Wow. The design team have failed once again. First with Tyrese's car. Now with this one. Just let the actors build their own cars...

What are you guys talking about! This ca is un-real! I will say the veilside kit is pretty sweet minus the front bumper. This is how you are "suppose to" design a car. No gay ass graphics of a warror or some Japanese dude or something on the side of the car. This is clean and the way it should look. And the new STi is sick. Way better than the rallyart lancer from FF2. Im glade there are no mitus's in this movie. Way-to step up Universal!!!

On the one hand, I think the paint scheme could look better, however, I'm against having silly looking Japanese writing, characters etc. The STI is still sick looking and a great performer.

the paint job could be better but other than that sweet ride I love the body kit

    The new STI kicks ass

Tyrese Gibson designed his car from the ground up, for the person that was talking about letting the actors build their own. It was much more disgusting before he did so to.

I don't think this is a great choice of car to begin with. The paint layout is ok, and like others I do prefer a clean paint job over something cluttered. I'm just not one for wagons.

I just bought an 08 STI and this is like a kick in the nuts. What wanker came up with this paint job?

This car is waaaay better than the other ones i the older movies for several reasons:

    1. Its not ricey (no neon, no stickers, no ricey big wing, no BS, and the car is actually fast)

    2. The car's style is based on TIME ATTACK cars which is the hottest ish right now (drifting is played out)

    3. The car will by in its element RALLYING in the mexican desert.

    4. Hatchbacks are better for rallying (look at Citroen C4's and Ford's Focus WRC cars, all Hatchbacks).

    5. It's an STi, that performs just as good or better than the outgoing model whether you like it or not.

Anyone hating on this car is either a mullet sporting domestic owner, a Mitsu nutsucker, a ricer, an older STi/WRX owner who can't get over the fact that their car is outdated, or all of the above.....

I wish it was the 2009 instead of the 2008, but you can't argue with what's under the hood or at all 4 wheels. Power. Too bad they didn't improve the suspension.

Perfectly said....this is just a case of a poor choice of color...the car may not be 'your style' but the bottom line is this car is fast.
