Video: How to Destroy a Car Wash Machine
We’ve watched this video a dozen times but we still can’t figure out why the driver in the light blue Citroen C3 stamped on the gas pedal crashing and ultimately, destroying the automatic car wash machine. Maybe the C3 was equipped with Citroen’s quirky Sensodrive semi-automatic transmission and the driver wasn’t accustomed with the clutchless gearbox. Who knows. What we do know is that the man with the hat in front of the car was one lucky son of a gun. -Video after the jump

Why is the attendant with the pressure washer opening the doors and spraying the door jams? Maybe the driver was pissed-off that the jerk got the interior of his car wet?
Door jams can be easily washed with a pressure washer without getting the cars's interior wet. It's their job.
could be a good explanation for this accident. i would be pissed-off if he would spray the inside of my car with water. who does such a thing?
People who are anal about cleaning their cars clean their jams as well. I do it evertime i wash my car. If anything he would have gotten a very light misting, not even enough to saturate anything.
I detail my vehicles to the nth degree, and I have a Kranzle pressure washer to do, but I have never opened any door on any of my vehicles to spray any of the jams because that is just incredibly stupid.
Instead of hitting the washing device the driver should have hit the dumb-ass with the pressure washer wand.
this might have been at a car lot or auction or something commercial as opposed to a retail car wash. so it might have been someone who actually works at that wash who was driving. spraying the door jams is common but i don't think that they would have done it with a customer still in the car.
