|
Ferrari F430 Scuderia SpiderRumor has it that Ferrari is prepping a drop top version of its stripped out, track focused F430 Scuderia model equipped with the same 510HP 4.3-liter V8 engine as the coupe that could be introduced by the end of the year. Unfortunately we can’t confirm the rumors, but what we can do is show you how the lightweight 430 Scuderia Spider may look like through a set of renderings that were made by photoshop expert Jon Sibal. This is one of the nicest Ferarris that Enzo has ever built since the Testarossa in the 80s and the one used in the Magnum PI series. :)

so...this kinda negates the whole concept of the 430 Scud being lighter, stronger, faster..right? i thought the whole reason of the Scuderia was to be a more track ready version of the 430; more "driver" focused. the only purpose of a convertable is to be seen by others. why would anyone buy a convertable Scud when they could just buy a "regular" 430 for less money and with more luxury (like a radio). i mean, i guess i can see buying a Scud if you're more of a hardcore driver/fan, but this i can't see the purpose of. maybe someone could help me out with this. same with the veyron "convertable": why?
