|
Volkswagen Golf VI 2009The official, public unveiling of the sixth-generation Golf at the Paris Show is just around the corner but Volkswagen has already launched a dedicated site where German buyers can configure and see the final pricing for all versions of the new compact hatchback. We took snapshots of the Golf VI in all colors -11 in total- along with pictures of the three available trims, Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Just for the record, prices for the Golf VI in Germany begin from €16,500 ($23,961) for the basic Golf Trendline with the naturally-aspirated 1.4-liter 80PS engine and go all the way up to €27,125 ($39,390) for the Golf Highline with the 2.0-liter 122 PS turbo diesel. Check out our image gallery after the jump. -Continued

Good looking car. Shits on Corolla but maybe Pug 308 is better looking?

Competing with the Subaru Impreza for the dullest hatch of the year ...

... will a cracking GTI compensate for yet another design mistake?

we'd love to see your design before you criticise Volkswagen's design as a 'mistake'.

Are you sure that this is not a Golf 5 facelift?

308 is ugly, its not a facelift, complete new model because current is "too costly" to make

What has seeing one's design gotta do with criticizing VW's boring design as a possible mistake. The commentor probably isn't in the business of designing cars. Obviously the design approach was safe but boring, whether dullness will prevail against the more exciting styled rivals remains to be seen. Overall another ZZZ-worthy effort by VW design wise..

Golf are doing a great job chasing the Focus, but please don't elevate it above the sublime Leon ...

the taillights are a nice little refinement over the old HUGE ones.... but those headlights are GARBAGE! they look like something Saturn would make.

the last good looking golfs, imo, were the MK4 ones. good sleek headlights... pretty aggressive looking.

Typical male comments about looks. If 99.9% of males looked at their wives based on eye pleasing features, then there would be many divorces. I prefer to look at other more efficient benefits to the VW Golf than listen to negative people whom can NEVER be pleased. Congratulations to VW for leading the way in the USA with their green credentials, BRAVO.
