The automatic transmission-equipped models will use a new L99 6.2L V8 that’s based on the LS3 but includes GM’s fuel-saving Active Fuel Management feature that enables the engine to run on only four cylinders during light-load driving conditions. The L99 is rated at 400 HP and 395 lb.-ft. of torque (535 Nm) and according to GM, the automatic transmission Camaro SS will deliver an estimated 23 mpg or 10.2lt/100 km on the highway. I'll wait for the Korean knockout as it will be less expensive to buy; probably better made; have higher resale value.

looks nice and is probably very fast but Gm's reliability has been getting worse and worse every year. im surprised they have not gone bankrupt yet. lets see if this one has better success than the old camaro.

the koreans have been making better cars than GM, i wold also rather wait for their future V8 sports car.
