Suzuki Wagon R and Wagon R StingrayThe all-new 2009 Wagon R and its sportier sibling, the Wagon R Stingray were introduced in the Japanese market today. Both models are based on a revised platform with a longer wheelbase that promises to improve cabin space over the outgoing Wagon Rs. Powertrain options include naturally aspirated and turbocharged 660cc engines with the latter developing an output of 64 HP, matted to a 4-speed automatic, a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission. As with many other Japanese market models, customers can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel-drive versions. -Continued

The whole world is embracing smaller cars like the Wagon R except north americans. Instead of investing in alternative technologies why dont we just bring over these perky 660cc engined cars? That'll reduce our foreign oil dependency by atleast 75% and it wont cost us anything!

JP HK and India all drive on the left side , maybe that is the reason why SUZUKI only market it in these three places ~
i really like this small car and hope one day my country will produce it.

would like to see some more S-Wagons in N.A please! I live in SF, California, and what with all the Minis, Smart ForTwos, Insights, Xas, etc that i see driving around there, the urban living demographics are *ripe* for this kind of car!
