Nissan 370Z Official Photos Nissan is offering us our first look at the brand new 370Z with the release of a set of high-resolution pictures ahead of the sports coupe's world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 19 November. As anticipated, the Japanese automaker did not reveal any technical details on the 350Z's successor, but it's no secret that the new Z' will share its more powerful 3.7-liter V6 engine that can be hooked up to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic transmission with the latest generation Infiniti G37 Coupe and Sedan models. -Continued

The design team over at Nissan's headquarters chose an evolutionary approach for the 370Z's exterior styling but the sports coupe does appear to sit on a shorter wheelbase than the current 350Z. It also looks like it features a shorter rear overhang which results to a more aggressive stance that reminds us of the BMW Z4 Coupe, one of the Z's main rivals.

Nissan 370Z Official Photos Open up the door -well, theoretically speaking, and you'll see that Nissan retained the basic architecture of the cabin with the three large instruments in front of the driver and the three smaller ones on top of the center console. There are of course new controls and a more modern navigation / stereo system, but 350Z owners will feel quite at home. Nissan's people swear however that the cheap, hard plastics of the current 350Z have been replaced by high quality materials, but this is something that we have to see in person.

Was never a fan of the 350 but really like this. Probably because it is a Z4 Coupe.

looks retro with a hint of GTR in it. nice evolution.

Yeah, kinda like a Z4 coupe except a normal human being can fit in it. By the way, the car looks awesome.

Nice Car. Really evokes the feeling of the old 240. I'm not a huge fan of the center console instument panel - Feels cheesy and unrefined.

If you can't fit in it, go to the gym and lose weight. Don't forget the people who designed it is Japanese, not fat Americans! :)

imho, thanks to Renault for their work on the interior, I'm a Renault driver and I can see a direct influence. but I'm definitely a fan of the fairlady Z now, wasn't so sure bout the previous design

I guess it's an improvement over the last one but I'd still call it a failure. That side window is particularly ugly. I like the two inches of actual window in the rear section. If I remember my 280Z correctly, I could actually see out of those quarter windows.

This one is still dumpy, still stumpy. And now it's too busy. Puke.

This is far from a failure. Very nice. Will sell like hot cakes again. Hopefully the convertible version will look good this time around.

Nice... a good looking car, nicer than the 350 which I didn't think would be possible, and a little bit of GT R thrown in as well. My only minor complaint is that rear side window - it's tiny, so it'll be completely useless!

The window is tiny, but I reckon it's a deliberate design decision to pay homage to the original 240Z - similar to the 3 gauge setup on the dash. Overall the car looks like Z car (a very simliar shape to the S30) but my only complaints are the front and rear light design - there's nothing Z car about them!!! It's looks too much like the '09 Maxima.

This car is awesome.I've got an '07 but it looks like I'll be trading that in next year(lol).I just hope Nissan is able to keep its price in reasonable territory.

hmm :) first car that actually looks 0.001% better than BMW Z4 coupe from the outside, if you love small, powerful modern coupes! It looks like what you always wanted 350Z to look like, BUT which moron designed the dashboard and the instrument panel???? dashboard looks like lifted out of a booring fat 4door while instruments look simply crazy or wrong!
Beautiful on the outside, barely standable on the inside... Oh well there still is GT-R :D
and then there still is real life :P

To me the overall shape reminds me of the Porsche 911. Nice car though, most likely more affordable than a 911.

sergejs, the problem with the interior is too much renault influence! I can't stand the interiors of modern renaults, they look unfinished, especially the center console and radio! The radio in the 370 looks like it's just been borrowed from a renault. But it's a good looking car all round and that one thing wouldn't stop me from buying one!

Yes. It looks nice but I would stick to the 350Z instead. For me it's better looking.

its nice but it looks to much like the s2000 front and the audi tt back its somewhat of a collision but the lights r sik

Fell out of the ugly tree and hit every limb on the way down. The interior is hideous.
