Nissan GT-R in Matte Gold Finish Spotted in Dubai

|
Nissan GT-R Matte

We're not sure what to make about this Nissan GT-R that was scooped on the streets of Dubai; the lusterless gold paint scheme doesn't look bad but we're not exactly swept off our feet by it either. Well, maybe you can check out the rest of the pics in our gallery after the jump and tell us what you think. -Continued

It's better than the previous monstrosities we've seen from Dubai. You guys should've posted links to those previous stories, would've been good to compare.

Looks like a work in progress; just wouldn't be my taste no matter what the end result looks like.

Looks bronze to me.

But it doesn't matter what color a GT-R is anyway, this car is pure automotive gold whatever it's hue or finish.

And if I was a savvy forward thinking car collector I would buy at least two of these first of the new generation cars, and put them away someplace safe for 40 or 50 years, because I imagine someday they'll be auctioning them off at the Barrett Jackson auction for millions, because everyone will want the car that started what will certainly be a towering dynasty coming out of Nissan over the coming decades.

I really like it, thanks for posting.

not shure if it is worth it to repaint the whole car for this end result, but this could as well be offered by Nissan as a great factory color choice IMHO

"The Bronze"

God help us when the cops get these cars. What's that with those flashing lights bearing down on you in your Lamborghini MurciƩlago doing 190 mph, why it's a State Trooper in a Nissan. :-)

"The Bronze kill our pride."

I think that the paint goes really well with the color of the wheels.

""I think this could be new trend in the future..matte finish. I like it!""
I hope you are correct!
Matte finishes have been a popular aftermarket for awhile, and I think car manufacturers will eventually pay attention!
