Being the kind of people that we are, from the 28 photos (20 of them new) of the Porsche Panamera sports sedan that we've added after the jump, we decided to open the post with the one and only image that could spike plenty of testy comments from our readers... And just in case you've been living in Siberia for the past few days, click here for our previous article on the Panamera that contains all the initial information or if you're the kind of type that prefers a visual presentation, enter here for the official promotional video.

Yep, still ugly.
I'd do it.
IS THIS THE MOST AWFUL CAR EVER? IT´S SAD HOW PORSCHE CAN MAKE A CAR LIKE THIS
Fugly!! All out of proportion, heavy detailing and no style at all. Luckily Aston MArtin have shown just how good a big sporty 4 door can look.
Love It. Will buy one as soon as the portfolio goes back to a healthy amount.
wow, will buy it, porsche is more commercial now...
Well, if the 911 would launch as a totally new model 2009 people would call it ugly aswell.
It's the iconic status that makes people love it. Guess it will be the case with the Panamera also.
Yes it's a total horror! It's hunchbacked and the proportions are all wrong! Also those side skirts look like they were bought in Halfords!!! Dreadful. Really dissappointing.
I can't decide which is more dreadful, the fugly side view or the tear drop tail lamps, coupled with that overly-high rear bumper and cheap-looking strip of chrome. Notice that Porsche PR has been trying very hard to take some flattering shots of the car WITHOUT the full-on side view which is the worst looking part of the car. Still not succeeding, it looks like Porsche stretched the classic 911 design to 5 metres, then ran out of ideas and chopped out of rear. This design desperately needs a rear deck to balance its truly ungainly proportions.
I guess people are starting to appreciate ugly Porsche's since the Cayenne turned out to be a success. Personally I'd need more than the Porsche name and performance to sell me on this car because if it doesn't improve on looks seeing it in the flesh, then to me, just like the Cayenne, there's nothing to get too excited about.
Spot on Automote, I hadn't spotted those aftermarket side skirts! Nasty!!
Four for fugly. porsche has committed a party foul for the first? time. And I disagree on people appreciating ugly. I thought the Cayenne actually looked descent, this is just taking it on another level. The C pilar is absolutely unbalanced with the front of the car along with that swooping rear. It really does remind me of a dog with his tail cut off. There's many other vehicles that look much better in 4 doors. Perhaps in time Porsch will rectify some elements. Fortunately I do have faith in this company since they are after all one of the most successful car companies, especially right now.
Ok, I see 3 cars: a corvette C6's front, a cayman's rear, and to me the middle is so overwhelmingly the now retired pontiac grand prix. Anyone else see it? What do y'all think?
I hate to admit it, but I think it's growing on me.
Like everyone else here, I'll buy one to go with my Ferrari Enzo, 60ft yacht and Meagan Fox, which I also own :P.
fatty fat fat
I am personally going to laugh and point, along with getting my passengers to do the same, at any ass stupid enough to purchase this automobile bludgeoned to death with ugly-stick styling.
It is amusing to read the inarticulate (and in some cases illiterate) comments on this site. As an existing 911 and Cayenne owner I shall have no hesitation in acquiring a Panamera. It looks pretty functional to me and that, you chumps, is the point of Porsche.
The rear looks like it came from the 928. Although this car isn't as ugly as the 928.

It is amusing to read a comment from a purported Porsche owner. Open the checkbook and purchase the Panamera if you don't mind snide remarks about its chopped off backside and hunchback gait. Sure, it's functional, and it probably drives well. Just get off the pompous, condescending attitude about those (a growing legion it seems) who hate the Panamera's less than flattering looks.
All those people (fortunate) enough to be able to buy one of these motorised amoebas really will be the lucky ones. As they will be sitting inside looking out. Whilst the rest of us mere mortals will be splitting our sides with laughter at how stupid they look in their ridiculous vehicles. Emperors new clothes anyone?
They should have gotten a consultation from those making well proportioned 4 door sport coupes. They went for 6 footers in the rear seats, and that is overkill.
I predict a revised sleeker model in a few years ... if the Panamera survives. I think they can get it right. But they have not here.
