All the antitheft systems in the world won't be able to help you if you're dealing with a carjacker that's as devious and cunning as the man caught in action by this security camera. As you can see in the video that follows, all it took for the thief to pinch the car were three cans tied up to the exhaust pipe and a quick dash when the unfortunate female driver of the Mazda3 came to a halt and exited the vehicle to see where the noise was coming from. As most would have done in her place, she left the keys in with the engine still running. From then on, it was like stealing candy from a baby...

Seems fake, but worth noting. How does the lady hear cans rattling if the car only moves a few inches?
I agree with Anonymous. No way a driver would have reacted that quickly to an unexpected noise. However, if the film makers had waited a more realistic amount of time she would have been out of range of the security camera.
Yes, good points of view, but what if the cans were filled with certain objects to make it weigh more? Thus adding to the noise it will make. Although this is clever indeed, it seems fake, but with a time lapse of 20 minutes of him waiting till she got into the car, it is very questionable.
Stupid girl....
Fake! If that nerd is a car jacker than I am Julius Cesar.
She should have had an i-mob fitted, she wouldnt have lost the car then! www.i-mob.com
How would steal a Mazda anyway?
The camera was positioned perfectly.
Who would go out of their way to steal a Mazda at all, let alone a POS Mazda 3?
What a good security camera... only films 4 parking spaces in a parking lot...
She looked spanish. Typical. They fall for the dumbest things.
