Tokyo Show Debut for New Nissan Fuga Saloon and Hybrid Version

|
What we'll soon come to know as the 2011 Infiniti M sedan when it goes on sale here in the U.S. in Spring 2010, will be marketed in Japan as the new generation Nissan Fuga. Logos aside, the two vehicles are virtually identical inside and out. Making its first public outing at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month, the Nissan's all-new flagship sedan will arrive in Japanese showrooms this autumn. It will be available with Nissan's VQ37VHR 3.7-liter V6 and the smaller displacement VQ25HR 2.5-liter V6.

In the U.S., the Infiniti M will be offered with two engines, a 3.7-liter V6 producing around 330 horsepower and a 5.6-liter V8 said to deliver more than 400 horsepower.

As with the 2011 Infiniti M, the JDM Fuga's lineup will also include a hybrid version that employs a 3.5-liter V6, high-power Li-ion batteries and a highly efficient one-motor-two-clutch parallel hybrid system developed by Nissan.

The Japanese automaker claims that the rear-wheel drive Fuga Hybrid will be as fuel efficient as a compact C-segment car. This model will be introduced into the Japanese market in autumn of 2010.

I thing the interior is good, but the exterior makes this car an big UGLY SEDAN.. Not competitive to other cars in this segment, because peoples that want good looking sedan there is BMW 3,5; MERCEDES C & E-class; Audi A4; and little bit old but still beautiful Alfa Romeo 159.. this 4 sedans are the most beautiful sedans today in our planet.

This car looks good and I am glad they put a normal steering wheel on it.

As virile and artistic as a Maserati Quattroporte!
For the first time, she's equipped with 3.7-litres/330bhp(245kW) engine, but I do expect the hybrid version of same engine would yield near-400bhp. If realized, she's a unique Japanese alternative to Porsche Panamera S!

Marque identification!

Recognizable as an Infiniti.

Love the detailed, feline look, of all the Infiniti's.

Framented sentences!
Overstated values in comparison to cars that are beyond it's leauge!
1 million HP!
Tired and non-erogonomic dash and distant hopes of being an alternative to ugly 5-door coupes like a Porsche Panamera S!

…It is Nissan, but I would want to be seen driving it in anything less than a tailored suit… It is Nissan but it seems to have arrived, a nice look inside and out and the power plants will give it that little somesing somesing. Well done Nissan. The is a market in South Africa for at least one thus far…
