Now here's a nice educational video for all those annoyingly edgy drivers that weave in-and-out of traffic as if the road is an obstacle course. For whatever reasons, a Subaru driver in Chile was tailing / filming a bright-red Dodge Viper GTS on the freeway. The driver of the American sports car was swooping right and left to avoid the traffic when all of a sudden he exited a tunnel only to see that cars in front of him had come to a halt... damn
bye bye viper
MASSIVE FAIL.....
Ah Ah Ah, dumb driver, poor car...
annnnnnddddd.... ITS A BIG YAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
did he hit something or something came off of his car at 1:17?
probably littering
ouchhhhhh
nice aceleration, bad breaking .....
there should be a minimum iQ score for drivers....
what? he couldn't see that van?
doesnt seem like he's going that fast.. bad brakes? no ABS?
Brain always costs much more than a viper...
If someone think that muscle under the hood of the car can replace muscle under the hood of his head, he better play the brain-hacker games, than make game out of his life...
nice aceleration, bad breaking .....
Typical of American cars.
hahaha, i love it!
Oh SNAP!!!!
Serves that tool right! :P
It looks like the Subaru driver was shooting video while driving on a crowded freeway. Very unsafe, but apparently not as bad as driving a Viper while stupid.
The moron should be penalized by being tied into the hood of his car while someone slams it into a concrete wall at 150 kph. That would teach him a lesson.
Engine braking would've made a difference in stopping said Viper(if he know how to really a drive a fast stick shift car)...
Idiot driver.
It looks like he had plenty of time and wasn't going very fast. He must have accelerated hard as he went around that van.
When you exit a tunnel there is a big change of brightness and it can take a few seconds for your eyes to adjust.
This guy was accelerating hard out of the tunnel and by the time he was aware of the stationary van... it was too late. Sad.
sure thing that engine braking would have been a much better option, if the driver had been trained to do so, which most drivers aren't..
I thought viper lacking ABS was common knowledge..
As hard as it was for me, I watched that video 20 times... and I've realized, he wasn't going much faster than normal traffic, I think the problem was lack of skill/abs AND the brightness change... because he simply locked up the brakes as soon as he was out of the tunnel, but didn't slow down much at all perhaps only 20%. He couldn't have been going more than 20% faster than the rest of the people either, it's sad to see.
hahaaa~~~ idiot!!
engine breaking is very tough on seals, lifters, valve springs and rod bearings...although race drivers who developed the concept regularly install new fittings inbetween races...its great for them, costly in the long run for passanger cars..but stupidity always trumps engineering..every time.
Damn Very bad breaks for a Viper, no ABS and next time wear sunglasses !
Viper driver was probably shooting video too. Why can't people pay attention and be satified to just drive?
watching it actually hurts
@fas... nice aceleration, bad breaking ..... Typical of American cars.
I'd have to agree with you that most USA cars are such but the Viper has proven itself as a qualified race car. Not sure what happened to the ABS on this car.... possible a clone?
Wow! That was just sad! lol
Poor bastard!
Totally Idiot...
i think you would have to blame the red truck as he had no right to be in the fast lane and blocking the view of everyone behind him its always the case when you get fustrated with the prick in front.
The real idiot is the person filming and trying to keep up with the bad driver! He's even worse because he's going to be distracted. I just he was the one who wrecked!
Maybe it'll buff out.
