VIDEO: Aston Martin DB9 Breaks Tree in Half in Polish Accident!

|
And the exotic supercar slaughter continues. However in all fairness, unlike the recent Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari California incidents in which their respective drivers were to blame, this crash that allegedly occurred in Warsaw, Poland, and involved an Aston Martin DB9 (or at least it looks like a DB9), may very well have been caused by the rain and slippery road conditions. If you pay attention in the beginning of the video, you'll see a DB9 in the top left corner slipping out of control and smashing into a tree and cutting it in half. Luckily the tree did not fall on the Aston Martin nor on any other car. Watch the video after the break.

So driving too fast for conditions is not the driver's fault?

I agree, its raining and you are in a RWD car with lots of power... should be very very careful I would say its the driver's fault... I could be wrong though.

Looks like a DBS - skirts and airdam are a bit lower than standard DB9. Either way, driver appears to have been driving WAY too fast for conditions and ended up on Youtube. Oh the shame...

Doesn't it have Traction Control and ESP? I'd say the driver was abusing the car, and probably the other road users.

why is the guy driving with a camera?

drivers have to addapt to bad weather conditions.

is as stipid, as the veyron crash...

Driver's need to know that if they own an Aston Martin it does not make them James Bond. And being real here, I agree as the weather changes adapt your driving styles! No matter if it is a FWD, AWD or RWD vehicle.

Aston Martin driver: -___- fail!

We can thank semi-manual transmisions for that. Any douche bag thinks they can get behind the wheel of a sports car now.

It's getting better if the car is not actually his. As is in the most cases - drivers renitng a sports car, which they don't know in details how to drive, and than just ashame themselves .. These drivers are better off with Fian Pandas, please. ^-^

It's probably some sort of transportation van, so this way the company can monitor many kinds of useful information. It's not expensive to install as well. Also in an accident, it will be very very usefull as well - to find the innecent and guilty one in it.

How it not the driver's fault? It seems he passed and changed lanes and then spun out of control. The rain just doesn't make your car slide, you have to be driving it hard to make this happen. Clearly the driver's fault. Another reason why quattro is a good idea.

The driver lost his common sense there and for all it seems his car.

Quattro in an Aston? Gimme a break.
