VIDEOS: 2011 Kia Cadenza Looks Even Better on the Road

|
Who could have imagined a few years back that Kia would eventually build cars looking as decent / good (depending on your aesthetic criteria) as the 2011 Cadenza? Sure many will note that the Cadenza borrows many styling cues from the German competition, but that's something that should be expected from Kia since its new design boss is none other than former VW / Audi designer Peter Schreyer.

In any case, Kia has created a mid-size sedan that seems capable of capturing the attention of your average mainstream buyer with its styling - and not deterring them like the outgoing Amanti which it will replace in the States.

If it will do well or not in the market, however, is another story which depends on a variety of factors including how well the car is built, how it drives and of course, what it will cost.

But for now, take a look at the two new promotional videos plus an action-packed South Korean commercial of the Cadenza and share your thoughts in the comment section after the break.

KDM version looks better than watered down US version. Cool commercial too.

Really impressed with the ad. Nice lengthy shots of the interior/exterior and damn they made it look so good! And it looks fantastic in black. Obviously the top end model but man, so many toys! Jesus, never thought a Kia could be desirable.

Jesus, just saw what I wrote. Sound like a bloody ad man for Kia. But, crap, they really look like they nailed it with this car. Good looks, V6 engine and heaps of options.

Damn Koreans...hurry up and bring it to my part of the world. Gonna be shopping for a new company car very soon!

Good but where's the 3.0 v6 300bhp@8000rpm normally aspirated 4 seater coupe with rear wheel drive we crave so much.

Let's hope they import this one with the low-profile 19" wheels and piano-black interior. In that version it looks outstanding! The silver version? Not so much...more like a water-down A6.

I just doesn't feel right with badge missing in the middle of the grille, but if the KIA badge is relocated in the middle of the grille it will look cheap. I think KIA should come up with a better corporate badge.
