Just in time for next month's Tokyo Auto Salon 2010, Japanese tuning house Tommy Kaira has finalized its aero and performance offerings for the latest generation Toyota Prius hybrid. We've been following the development of Tommy Kaira's sports package since September when the company released a set computer enhanced images, but now we've got the real deal.
Exterior appointments come in the form of new alloy wheels in sizes 16- and 18-inches, and an aggressive aero kit with parts that are available in carbon fiber, painted in the same color as the car or in a matte black finish.
The bodykit includes a front spoiler, grille trim, decorative trim for the front bumper, side skirts, roof spoiler and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser that houses four tail pipes.
Tires and alloys aside, performance mods are limited to a new brake system, a sports suspension that brings the car a few centimeters closer to the ground and a sports exhaust system.
Other available upgrades include illuminated Toyota logos, a sports steering wheel, specific floor mats, and HID and LED lights.

And they want to be taken serriously with that get-up?
Nope!
That is just ugly!
totally cool!!!
what is it for?
Does this sports package actually add any performance to the car?
I have always heard that pinstripes add 5 extra horsepower so imagine what all these add ons will do for performance. I'm in...
haha LoL ... pinstripes add 5 extra HP. But, I have to wonder, why would anyone want to do this to a Prius? How about just get a 1970s Pinto and do the same? LoL. Who is going to corner in a Prius to make the investment in the coil overs worth it? So much for a muffler kit, when the first 20-30 mph is all electric. What's the point of 18s? It'll just make it heavier, less gas mileage, and work harder, which defeats the purpose of a Prius. Idiots, if you ask me.
Sounds really nice. Iam interestet in eco tuning
