We're pretty sure that when this truck driver's boss told him to drop off the red Ferrari 430 Spider at Ernie Boch's luxury car dealership in Norwood, which is located just outside of Boston, this wasn't what he had in mind...
The expensive drop off was caught on camera by the helicopter news crew of Skyfox. Watch the video and weep for the Prancing Horse model after the jump.
Thanks for the nod Maria! Via: Skyfox and Jalopnik

I hope this guy was fired.
why is the wiper running?
This gives new meaning to "just drop my car off at the dealership"
It looks like they backed it onto the lift to be lowered down to the ground when a piece of the lift broke off. You can see the piece on the ground.
ugh, anyone handling a supercar, Ferrari or otherwise, should be inspected every other month so that they know what they're doing
^^^^
That is exactly what happened. Clearly this is a mechanical failure and not human error. The outer section folds out creating a long enough section for a vehicle to sit on the ramp, allowing it to be lifted or lowered.
The truckers' insurance should cover any damages to the Ferrari, unless the truck belongs to the dealership itself.
If you were dropped unexpectantly 8 feet to ground on your butt ... your wipers may be running too!
the wipe is running cuz the car is crying
The driver backed it out of the truck. He went to step on the clutch and there is no clutch. Stepped on the brakes and too late...
MAYBE SOME A FEW SERTA MATTRESSES AND A PULL OFF WOULD HELP CUSHION DAMAGE
The sad part is, other than the fact that this Itlaian will be scared for life, is that the owner has probably waited 2 years for delivery, and then just as he was goign to pick it up, they tell him, you have to wait some more.... i would simply murder someone if i was in that owner's shoes....
^ i bet you are right! ouch.
It clearlly shows that is not the drivers fult. That the truck lift broke hopefully the driver is ok.
this is a message from god to the owner to buy the 458 italia....lol
give it to me, i'll fix it, damn it. it waz a f*ckin mistake, get over it
It is'nt the horse standing on his back hooves, but the car standing on his rear bumper!
