The Japanese domestic market version of Mitsubishi's new RVR crossover, which will go by the name "ASX" in Europe, officially went on sale this week in its home country. The five seater model slots right below the Outlander in Mistubishi's SUV / Crossover line-up and one if its closest rivals is the recently updated Nissan Qashqai.
The 4.3-meter long (169.3-in.) crossover model is offered in Japan exclusively with a new 139HP 1.8-liter MIVEC petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed CVT with steering-wheel mounted paddle shifts, and is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
Pricing in Japan ranges from 1,785,000 Yen (US$19,650 or €15,500) for the basic 2WD version to 2,449,650 Yen (US$27,000 or €19,900) for a fully equipped 4WD model.
The European market ASX will be shown for the first time in public at the Geneva Motor Show on March 2.

bland Bland BLAND!!
looks like a Dodge Caliber to me.
I did not give a shit 'bout this car but im seriously impressed.
Such design should be forbidden, so please EU or Mr Obama: Intervene!!!!
^ you know how i know you're gay?
Too boring from the inside, I think.
That is amoung the worst interior i have ever seen.
it is okay, but there is a lot going on up front. too bad that it has such a heavy look to it.
The interior is as basic as my 2005 VW Caddy van
the front fog lights look like mustang headlights
too many things to look at can cause accidents, it looks good enough for me.
"too many things to look at can cause accidents, it looks good enough for me."
But having a interior that is more bland than the inside of a cow anus will drive people to want to kill themselves because of unrelenting uninteresting dash.
