DIY Video: How to Scrap a Lancia Delta

|

Agreed; the previous -second- generation of the Lancia Delta wasn't anything special (not that we care about any first-gen Delta other than the Integrale models), but to destroy any car all in the name of a Youtube video, just doesn't seem right any way you hummer-sledge it. Watch the video after the break

The Delta II was perfectly serviceable and head-and-shoulders above the Prussian "benchmark" of its segment (the horrendous KdF/Volkswagen Golf III). And the Delta I was a much better car than the KdF/Volkswagen Golf I it competed against.

It's just that the Prussians have a lot of propaganda know-how left over from Goebbels.

I thought Top Gear were the only ones to mindlessly smash up good (sometimes new) cars!

Anonymous said... »March 06, 2010

^ When was this car ever "good"?

Anonymous said... »March 09, 2010

It still is, you idiot. Care to compare it to the overpriced, asthmatic and overrated piece of crap known as the Volkswagen Golf III?

Anonymous said... »March 09, 2010

"It still is, you idiot. Care to compare it to the overpriced, asthmatic and overrated piece of crap known as the Volkswagen Golf III?"

Compare it all you like. BOTH cars are crap and were never anything to brag about; both are worthy of being trashed.

hehehe wt!... i know what this means....

it mean this model are very tough...very durable... can accept those abuse tho...
see if those china-build-cars can do the same.

To the moron who, following (like a voter of a nationalist party) the propaganda of rags like the Daily Mirror, tries to tell us that the Delta was crap:

Have YOU ever driven one? Have YOU owned a car that's REALLY... "worthwhile"? Because you're most likely nothing but a keyboard knowitall, one of those 40-year-old virgins living in their mom's basement and have no job to write home about, much less a girlfriend or a LIFE.

Go back to enjoying your KdF-Wagens.

Since I don't fit that criteria even in the least, my assesment of the Lancia Delta stands as fact and it shall be known throughout the land that they were garbage and worthless, from factory floor to trash heap.

Nobody has to drive or own a car to know they were shit...and I shouldn't have to tell you that.

My departed Mercedes 260E made in 1992 would be used in Baghdad Iraq as a reliable transportation for plutocrats, not scrapped.
I dreamed of my current car,the Lexus IS350 2009 being destroyed with hammers by my friends last night,I'm afraid if I had expected the Toyota bashing would getting worse from now!

Anonymous said... »March 22, 2010

To the idiot that spews garbage without knowing what he's talking about... Do you REALLY expect to be taken seriously?

Jeez, one's gotta LOVE the car crowd.

Anonymous said... »March 22, 2010

Kiyoshi, 1992 Mercedes E-series were used until relatively recently in the Balkans by Albanian and Bulgarian drug dealers and pimps before they upgraded to Porsche Cayennes.

As for Iraqi plutocrats... LOL, you mean Quislings who cooperated with the occupation forces and former lackeys of Saddam Hussein who wised up and decided to lick the arses of the new rulers?

Now THAT'S the kind of provenance that adds prestige to a car!

MAybe this video is to show to some idiots that the normal cars can go offroad instead of having a Q7 and going ONLY in good tarmac and not on a single grit...
