Mazda Continues MX-5 Festivities with Black & Matte Special Edition

|

Paris: In honor of the MX-5's 20th French birthday, Mazda rolled out the MX-5 Black & Matte Edition at the Salon du Cabriolet, Coupé & SUV, an event that I have never heard of before in my entire life.

From the French press release, it sounds like Mazda teamed up with a local designer to throw itself a party; fine by me, but the invitations must have been lost in the mail, because I ain't there.

Starting with a 2.0 liter Roadster Coupe, Paris design house LK (run by Laure Kczekotowska) seems to have taken the black, matte Miata and covered it "with rhinestones, gems, [and] crystals". I don't see no rhinestones, Kenny.

Anyway, the point is this: PARIS. SPECIAL EDITION. MX-5. HAUTE COUTURE. SOMETHING SOMETHING. PARTY. You get the idea.

She's displaying a warning triangle - that, plus the swords say either "Stay away" or "I've broken down". Excellent...

Franck: Apparently, not all people have a sense of humor.

Regarding your comments, I'm not even going to justify them with an answer.

A wise man told me once that there are some battles you cannot (and shouldn't even try) to win...

She has a sword and the car is laughing at her. What a strange photoshoot.

! thought she was holding her panties, then I realized being French she wasn't wearing any and that she was missing a shoe from on foot. Nice, Very nice....

As for the Miata .. it needs Flames and pinstripes.

A regards 'Franck"... Understand some of the points you were trying to make, but never assume that you know who your talking to.

Your comments are Euro centric while deriding American centric positions. Both are ignorant positions.

Ok Phil ... Enough of this common man eighth grade schoolyard verbiage and syntax. Don't lower yourself to the level of too many commentator's on CARSCOOP.

Hone your journalistic skills and find your identifiable style..And keep writing as much as you can.... "You only 'really' know what you Do" So do it often and advance your craft.

"And Dip Shits with Paper Assholes who have never been in a war, make comments like that...^"

That sounds like the very comment a sore loser of a war would say!!

How do you respond to someone...^ as dumb as a rock?

Yes, we lost it. But the 'winners' didn't win either, with over 2 million dead, and hundreds of thousands injured for life.

We were Lucky ..LMAoff!.. only about 57.,000 dead and 450+ thousand injured, most, grievously.

If I'm sore about anything, it's at a government that puts Fathers, Brothers, and Sons in harms way for national ego and corporate profits and doesn't give a shit about the injury done to the men(and now women) and their families and the fabric of society. But then a Dumb Shit like you could never understand that or care.

Nothing has changed, because there are too many only too willing to wave the flag in some naive and dangerously ignorant idea of patriotism.

Now go back to your little chrome cap pistol sonny, your not worth my time.

"I profit from war...therefore, I win."

The worst kind of person.

Gets to the point of my to often stated comment that, "Just cause it looks human, doesn't mean it is"
