BMW has released the very first teaser shots of its next X3 SUV on its official website(s). Even though the 2011 X3 is due to make its public debut at this year's edition of the Paris Motor Show in early October, it is certain that BMW will publish a full set of photos and initial details of its new SUV model much earlier.
These pictures show the 2011 X3's more sculpted bonnet which is similar in styling to the the facelifted 3-Series and new 5-Series, as well as a sneak peak of the tail lights and the SUV's profile.
If you want to see more of the new X3, click here to check out a revealing walk-around video filmed by a Youtube user who found the SUV parked on the road. We'll update our story on the next generation X3 as soon as BMW comes out with something new.

To bad we have already seen the new car when they had the bomb scare in Central Park
enough there to call it a true bmw. my only fear is its price. the problem with baby mercedes, bimmers and other small luxury cars is how much options can easily add ten grand or more to a base price.
My last ever Bimmer is the 2007 X3. The 6-speed auto tranny was just a complete piece of crap. Jerks like sh*t they say its normal. In and out from repairs I don't know how many times. I was a Bimmer fan but now the way BMW treated me I will never buy another, not even a completely new one.
My 2007 X3 was a complete failure. They customer service is a complete failure... and that's my last Bimmer ever. The 6 speed auto tranny jerks like h*ll but still called it normal. Hesitates and wrong gear, your first day driving a stick shift drives better. I will never go back to BMW even for new designs.
Taking by the contours of the bonnet there is something similar to the new 5 series.
